Life...

Well, it has been a while since I blogged last and there is no real excuse other than the usuals. However, I've finally decided to post something new but talk about the same old.

I HAVE FOUND THE DRESS! It is very exciting and yet daunting all in one! But the decision is made and now to make all other aspects fit around the style, colour and my theme- Beautiful Vintage. I don't have my measurement fitting until 11th March so here's hoping my hard work at the gym will have paid off then and of course for the wedding. To be honest, the wedding was the inspiration I needed to get of my butt and into the gym. I love going and would like to think of it as a lifestyle choice as opposed to something I'm just doing for the wedding day. Every time I hear someone say something like "Your wedding day is going to be the day that you look your best in all your life", I freak out at the pressure and the idea that it's all down hill from here! :) However, I really don't believe that. There is going to be so many wonderful and exciting moments in life and I know that looking glam is not going to be what is important on those days. My mind is drawn to the image of legs in the air on the delivery table! Ha! I must be clucky or something :)

I am meeting with the florist again this afternoon to make some final decisions about flowers and style of bouquets. I am really quick stuck and need to go have a quick look online. I am sticking with the feminine vintage style so something elegant and probably pastels in colour will work best. I have been hunting down vintage crystal vases for the center pieces from the local Op Shops and as my friend Kiz says, a donation to charity is always a great thing.  I love the way my ideas seem to all be coming together! So if you're out shopping and you go past the local Vinnies or Salvos pop in and grab a vase for me! I have gone for tiny little posey vases and brandy de-canters for the large vases! I have them spread over my dining tabe at the moment and they look so pretty without flowers!

I have also found an invite on my current obsession, etsy.com There are soooo many wonderful items on there and I am just delighted that I have found an invite that has all the elements I was looking for! I can't wait to see the mock up when it arrives! Ohhh I'm so excited!

School has been busy already. Aaron has started his new job and is feeling slightly overwhelmed by the chaos that has ensued. But after a shop to Officeworks to feed both our stationary addictions, I think he may be able to find some peace-well on his desk at least! :)

My new classes are great so far. I loved the way my current year 11's, that are last years year 10's came in and sat in their same seats! I definitely had a little chuckle! And the way students who are already in the school have come in and are so pumped they have me as their teacher! Warms the cockles of my heart. :) I'm sure this was just the glowing light of day 1 but here's hoping it stays bright for at least the next week!

Mia and Molly are driving me crazy at the moment. Mia is her neaurotic tendecies and Molly in her lazy slobbery mess! It's almost like they're punishing us for going on holidays! Ok, Ok let's be honest, it's mostly Mia but when the neighbours are having a loud party with the usual drunken shananigans and smokers outside baiting the dogs, what else are they supposed to do but bark at them? Anyways, here's to the dog trainer comng on Tuesday! I jsut hope he helps us more than just saying "You need to walk them everyday." Took them for a walk yesterday and they seemed good this morning untill Mia learnt a new trick with the fence.... but that is for another post!

Hugs till then xoxoxo
